Klabs Ventures Studio, powered by KSPACE TECHNOLOGIES, has launched the Startup Build Credits Initiative — non-cash technology development credits to help founders turn ideas and prototypes into market-ready products.
Build credits for founders, at every stage
The initiative is designed to support founders at different stages of their entrepreneurial journey — from individuals developing their first business ideas to entrepreneurs who have already built applications using artificial intelligence but need professional engineering, deployment, or commercialization support.
As AI-powered development tools make it easier than ever to create software, many founders are discovering that building a prototype is only the beginning. Transforming that prototype into a reliable, secure, and commercially viable product remains a significant challenge. KLABS aims to help bridge that gap.
Through the initiative, selected applicants can receive development credits toward eligible services delivered by KSPACE TECHNOLOGIES, including software engineering, mobile and web application development, product design, technical improvements, integrations, deployment, and commercialization support.

Who can apply
The initiative welcomes applications from aspiring entrepreneurs, independent developers, student founders, early-stage startups, and existing businesses exploring new digital products.
Eligible applicants may receive up to C$5,000 in non-cash development credits, depending on the applicable offer, project requirements, and approval. Applications are reviewed based on project suitability, technical feasibility, commercial readiness, and available capacity. Founders are encouraged to apply early — a limited number of opportunities are available for Q4 2026.
Credits are applied toward qualifying KSPACE TECHNOLOGIES services and do not represent cash grants or direct financial investments. Additional project contributions may be required.
